I first saw the animated Amethyst shorts a few months ago when I stuck in a hospital on a Saturday morning with nothing to do beside watching god awful tv. Since then I’ve watched the rest of it on youtube. It’s very cute, and I quite like the art style. The writing was uneven and pacing was horrid, but that’s mostly the fault of the serialized format. At any rate, it was far more entertaining that the comic reboot of the character that DC recently tried.
