Does Not Play Well with Others

Of course, the government shutdown did have actual repercussions for many government employees, and things could have been much, much worse if both sides hadn’t finally put on their big boy pants and made an agreement at the last minute…  but for probably 97% of the US, the shutdown basically meant diddly squat despite the doomsday predictions all the major news outlets made in between trying to pass the blame between their political parties of choice.
